Social Awareness programs held

JAMMU, MAY 18: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K Regd. (State unit of Vidya Bharti)Isthe largest Educational society/NGO working in the field of education running 36 schools in UTs of J&K & Ladakh.
During this Covid-19 Pandemic all the school management committee members, Principals and school staff, ex students, Students studying at present voluntarily carried out the relief work in their respective areas under guidance and moral support of Prant Adhikaries which is still going on.
The relief work included distribution of food packets to needy, making of face masks, distribution of hand sanitizers, providing tea and snacks to police and paramilitary personal on duty at different locations Distribution of fresh vegetables, sanitization of markets, public places, offices etc, distribution of masks to poor and needy villagers, labourers etc. Students and teachers carried out massive social awareness campaign in and around to save the people from this covid-19 pandemic by social media, preparing charts and cartoons, sending video & audio messages, teachers of schools where there are no internet facilities like Dacchan, Paddar, Zanskar etc. carried out door-door to campaign by maintaining social and physical distances to aware the people about the ill effects of covid-19 and also safety measures to be taken in to defeat this deadly virus and save the human race. Thousand of food packets where also distributed among the stranded truck drivers on NH-44during closure. Prant Samiti subject experts, Principals& teachers of all schools arranged the online classes for all students from shishu vatika to 12th class by preparing video lectures, questionnaire, class and home assignment diagrammatic representation, charts etc. for keeping the students active during this lock down period which will continue till the schools resume normal functioning.
