137 Bn CRPF distributes relief material at Jhajjar Kotli

JAMMU, MAY 19: Eversince the lockdown was implemented across the country,137 battalion CRPF has been endeavouring to reach out to needy people in its area.A team of 137 Bn CRPF headed by Assistant Commandant Pankaj Kumar comes forward to distribute hygienically packed dry ration items and masks to 20 families of migrant labourers identified by BDC chairman Reena Thapa in Jhajjar kotli village of Jammu. During the awareness talk on covid -19 focus was made on the measures like social distancing, regular hand wash, use of masks and maintenance of hygiene and sanitation.
During distribution of relief material SHO Jhajjar kotli Inspector Rajesh khajuria, BDC chairman Reena Thapa and Sarpanch Sh.Kuldeep Sharma were also present. Later door to door sanitization of entire area of jhajjar kotli village was also conducted.
