Jugal visits Sant Giridhranand Paramhans Sant Ashram Ranjri

JAMMU, MAY 23: Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Lok Sabha from Jammu -Poonch Parliamentary Constituency today visited Sant Giridhranand Paramhans Sant Ashram Ranjri (popularly known as Sahib Bandgi Ashram) and paid reverence to Swami Madhu Paramhans ji. They talked about the present crisis that the world is facing, saying that its the humanity's biggest crisis since World War II. Almost every country has been affected by the devastating Corona virus disease (COVID-19).
Mr Sharma said that India has been successfully controlling the transmission of COVID-19 till date due to well-coordinated steps taken by the government to tackle the Corona epidemic. Mass public awareness created by leveraging the modern technology ; and a strong central government; among others, indeed helped in containing the spread so far.
He appreciated the social services provided by Sahib Bandgi Sant Ashram Ranjri during the lockdown. Its pertinent to mention here that Ashram is serving cooked meals to more than ten thousands of migrant labourers and local people daily for the last more than fifty days in various areas of Kathua, Samba, Jammu and various other Districts of Kashmir Division.
Mr Sharma also visited the beautiful apple orchards maintained by the Ashram. He said that it is surprising to know that apple are being grown in hot and harsh weather conditions of Jammu.
