Brahmkumaris playing vital role in serving needy in these times: Sat

Jammu, May 24: Continuing their efforts to serve the needy in every way possible, Jammu and Kashmir unit of Brahmkumaris provided ration to hundreds of needy families in Jammu West Assembly segment. Former State President BJP and Ex MLA Sat Sharma (CA) distributed ration with the team of Brahmkumaris. Rajyogini Sudershan Didi ji (Director, Brahmkumaris J&K), District President Munish Khajuria, Corporator Ward 8 Dr Akshay Sharma, District General Secretaries Adv Rajesh Gupta and Adv Karan Sharma, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, BK Ravinder Kumar, BK Ravi Bakshi were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of Brahmkumaris team and said that they have been serving the society form nearly a century now and during this pandemic situation when the whole world is facing crisis in these tough times, the Brahmkumaris pledged to serve the needy so that no one sleeps hungry, he added. He stated that though their main work is to transform the life of people through Rajyoga Meditation but they are always ready to help society.
Sudershan Didi said that this world is like a huge drama in which we get the role according to our Karmas. She also added that along with knowledge meditation, we help people according to their needs because society belongs to us and we belong to society, she added.
Munish and Dr Akshay said that special attention is given to social Distancing and we all must obey the guidelines laid by the Government of India to protect ourselves and others. They also stated that with the help of Former MLA nearly 20000 needy families in Jammu West were provided with essential services.
