ISM, GGF organise medical camp

JAMMU, JULY 31: Gandhi Global Family J&K in collaboration with Directorate Of Indian Systems Of Medicine J&K and Tawi Welfare Society organised 45th Medical camp in the premises of Tawi Islands, Village Suryachak, Jammu and distributed AYUSH immunity boosting drugs supplied by ISM to the general public through their expert team of doctors, following the guidelines issued by the local administration.
Over 520 people were examined by Dr. Sukhpreet Kaur, Dr. Shefali Sharma, Shri Adarsh Sharma- Senior Pharmacist deputed by Dr. Suresh Sharma- ADMO, Jammu.
Earlier, awareness on Covid19 was also conducted by the team of doctors.Shri Dinesh Gupta- Former Regional Secretary Red Cross, Shri Kaviraj- President Tawi Welfare Society, Smt. Isha Devi- Sarpanch Suryachak, Col. (Retd) Shri Somnath Dogra, Shri BishanDas Sum- Sarpanch, Shri Gharu Ram- Panch, Shri Ratan Lal- Panch, Covid19 GGF Response Team- Dr. Prem Sharma, Colonel Shyam Sunder, Sardar Jaswinder Singh Kuku, Shri Robert Robin Gill, Shri Vikram Bhasin and a team of ISM doctors inaugurated the camp by presenting immunity boosting kits to villagers of three Panchayats, simultaneously.On the occasion, Shri Vikram Bhasin- President Mohalla Welfare Committee Ward no 4 handed over set of 200 Masks to Shri Kaviraj, President- Tawi Welfare Society for distribution among the Villagers. GGF J&K President Padmashri Dr S P Varma in his message while addressing the gathering, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM J&K, Dr. Suresh Sharma, ADMO Jammu for deputing competent team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for immunity boosting of people of the area. He emphasized on the role of AYURVEDA in our lives ever since the creation of the world and the human evolution. While paying his rich tributes, he also reminded his association with founder of Tawi Welfare Society Shri RC Gupta since 1990 who is no more amongst us but his contributions are still alive & growing by each passing day in the shape of Apna Van & Infrastructure raised on re-claimed land from River Tawi with the help of Govt & local people contributions. He has also appreciated the role of Shri Kaviraj, President Tawi Welfare Society and his dedicated team for the successful conduct of the camp and providing logistic and local arrangements.
