JKTJAC holds monthly meeting, raises burning issues of teachers

JAMMU, Aug 2: A virtual meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Commitee (JKTJAC) held at Udhampur under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma and District President Udhampur Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by the Forum representatives from all the eleven zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion Mr Vinod Sharma raised the issue of conversion of left out RRETs to Teachers Grade II /III who haven't been converted due to various reasons as these teachers are suffering badly.
He also sought the regularisation of ReTs whose files are lying in various offices including zonal, CEO and Directo-rates as there are some cases due since 2018 and these teachers are suffering badly .
He also sought the implementation of comprehensive transfer policy in favour of 3rd Teachers, Teachers Grade II and Teachers Grade III as they are working in the same schools for last 15 to 20 years and this stagnation at the same place is pushing them into mental trauma. He also raised the issue of conversion of Head teachers (SSA) posts to non plan master posts so that salary issue of head teachers be resolved once for all and demanded the DPC of teachers to masters in the whole UT which hasn't been held since February 2014.
He appealed worthy Principal Secretary School Education, Directors School Education Jammu /Kashmir to resolve all the above said issues of the teachers so that they may not suffer any more.
Lekh Raj Parihar while speaking on the occasion raised the issue of non payment of MDM dues in some zones of District Udhampur for the year 2019 which the teachers have managed from their own pockets .
He appealed worthy CEO Udhampur to personally intervene in this regard so that previous year liability under MDM be cleared. He also sought the kind attention of worthy CEO Udhampur that despite of Govt order to release the advance salary for the month of July on the festivals of Eid and Raksha-bandhan many ZEOs have failed to release the same due to their negligence .
