Dy Mayor JMC inspects ward no. 55

JAMMU, Aug 4: Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC conducted surprise inspection of ward no. 55.
After receiving complaint from the residents of ward no. 55. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor conducted surprise inspection of ward no. 55 and conducted an extensive tour of the ward and also interacted with the residents asking them if there were any problems regarding sanitation, streets or lightening in the ward and noted there were long power cuts and also there was water supply problem due to which the residents of the area received water after 2-3 days, also a street was noted by the Deputy Mayor JMC which was damaged and needed immediate repair.
After the inspection, Purnima Sharma held a meeting with the Greater Kailash Welfare Society and discussed all the problems she noted and asked them if there are anymore other than the already mentioned.
The members of the Greater Kailash Welfare Society informed all their problems to the Deputy Mayor JMC which were immediately noted by her.
Purnima Sharma ensured the members of the Greater Kailash Welfare Society that all the issues have been noted and timely action will be taken regarding all the problems so that no one has to suffer due to these.
She further appealed to the locals not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and only to go out when it's important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
Darshan Grover (Ward President BJP), Vikram Charak, Veer Bakshi, Mandeep Choud-hary, Rajneesh Khajuria, Samyal and other prominent residents of the ward also accompanied the Deputy Mayor JMC.
