Ayushman Bharat Camp proved to be a game changer: Vinay

JAMMU, Oct 23: The aspiring Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a commendable step towards a healthy India, aiming to make affordable, accessible healthcare a reality for all. Ayushman Bharat health Insurance Yojana Camp was inaugurated by BJP Jammu District President Vinay Kumar Gupta in Prem Nagar Jammu, Jammu East Mandal, Ward No 07.Ayushman Bharat health Insurance Yojana Camp was organized by BJP State Vice President Yudhvir Sethi.
Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Gupta said that the scheme provides portable coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family annually, and a beneficiary covered under the scheme would be allowed to avail cashless benefits from any public and private empanelled hospitals across the country.He also said under Ayushman Bharat Scheme each and every citizen of the union territory of J&K will be covered .He said as per special package announced by Government. While giving details about the programme he added that Ayushman Bharat is a flagship scheme of Government of India and is part of National Health Policy of India. This is a special scheme to achieve the vision of health coverage for all the citizens of India. Vinay further added that this initiative has been designed to meet Sustainable Development Goals and its underlying commitment, which is to "leave no one behind". While throwing light on the ongoing COVID 19 crisis.
Vinay Gupta highlighted hundreds are visiting the camps to get themselves registered. Speaking on the occasion, he said that as demanded by the inhabitants of various wards of Jammu East mandal who were facing difficulties regarding their registration under the scheme, the camps were set up in east Mandal so that services could be provided to lakhs of residents.
