CRPF observes Vigilance awareness week

JAMMU, Oct 27: All Jammu based CRPF units and establishments are observing the Vigilance Awareness Week with theme "Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India)" from October 27,2020 to November 2,2020. The officers and personnel of CRPF in all establishments pledged to follow probity and rule of law in all walks of life, to neither take nor offer bribe, to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner and be accountable to all their actions, to take decisions objectively and impartially, to act in public interest, to lead by example exhibiting integrity in personal behaviour and to report any incident of corruption to the appropriate agency.
In Group Centre, Bantalab, the observance of the vigilance awareness week commenced with the integrity pledge administrated by Rajender Prasad, DIGP,GC Bantalab to all officers and men and educate the officers and men about corruption related practices and also educating them how to report them.
During this week, Group Centre, Bantalab is conducting various activities to create awareness among officers and jawans to promote and uphold ethical values, which helps in developing a sustainable culture of honesty and integrity, in this connection lectures will be delivered by officers to CRPF men on 28/10/2020, similarly, on 29/10/2020 a debate competition on topic "Corruption free India" will be organised. This observance of Vigilance week is successfully conducting under the efficient leadership of the Rajinder Prasad, DIGP, GC BTB and active participation by P.C Gupta Commandant, Sumit Verma Dy Comdt., Rajesh Kumar Dy. Comdt, GC Bantalab. All precautionary measures against COVID19 are strictly followed during all activities.
