SKUAST-TAJ bids adieu to Dr Gupta

Jammu, Oct 28: SKUAST-Teaching Associa-tion Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded an emotive / warm farewell to Dr.BB Gupta Professor (Plant Breeding & Genetics) and Ex-Registrar SKUAST-Jammu on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services of 33 years. VC SKUAST-Jammu Dr. JP Sharma while appreciating Dr. Gupta's contributions in teaching, research and administration selflessly wished him a very healthy post-retired life.
President Teaching Association Dr. Vikas Sharma while listing Dr. BB Gupta's achievements as an administrator and contributions in the discipline of Plant Breeding wished him a prosperous life after retirement. The advisors/office bearers of teaching association - Prof. RK Samnotra, Prof. Susheel Sharma, Dr. PK Rai, Dr. Rajeev Bharat, Dr. Anil Bhatt, also wished him luck.
The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Dr. JS Manhas, Dr. Arvinder Singh, Dr. BK Sinha while formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Vivak M Arya, Gen. Secretary, TAJ.
Besides, all the Exe-cutive Committee of SKUAST-TAJ, the function was attended by Dr. RK Gupta Director Research, Dr SK Gupta Director Extension, Dean FoA Dr. Abrol, Dean FBSc. Dr. Rizvi, Rajesh Talwar Registrar and President Non Teaching PDK Uppal.
