NCC commences annual training camp at Nagrota

JAMMU, Oct 29: "Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional", keeping in view the same spirit and zest, 2 J&K Girls Bn NCC undertook the initiative of organizing Annual Training Camp for girl cadets from diverse educational establishments. The duration of this camp is from 28 Oct to 03 Nov 2020 at Camping Ground, Nagrota. Around 180 cadets reached the camp site with their respective ANOs (Associate NCC Officers). Amidst the pandemic phase, major thrust is being given on COVID-19 protocols to ensure safety of the attendees. As a pre-requisite for the allotment of the barracks, all the cadets went through a Rapid-Antigen Test for COVID which was again conducted in a phased manner. The testing team was headed by Dr Atul Khajuria from Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Camp Comma-ndant, CO 2 J&K Girls Bn, Jammu, welcomed the cadets and emphasized on the need to abide by the standard COVID protocols without any breach. He also enlightened the cadets to practice personal hygiene & sanitation and also acquainted them with the major takeaways from this camp so as to boost the morale of the promising cadets.
