BJP Jammu West remembers Swami Vivekanand


JAMMU, Jan 12: District unit of BJP Jammu West paid floral tributes on 158th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand here at District Headquarters, Kachi Chawni.
The program was held under the leadership of District General Secretary Karan Sat Sharma who also conducted the proceedings of the program.
It was attended by a large number of people including State leaders, District leaders and Mandal Leaders of the party.
Prasad was also distributed among the people who attended the program.
The program was addressed by senior leaders including State Publicity Secretary Ayod-hya Gupta, Seh Prabhari Jammu West Shailja Gupta, BJP Leader Praduman Singh, Mandal President Janipur Raveesh Mengi, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Urvashi Gupta, District Vice Presidents Ajay Manhas and Annu Behnal, Veena Gupta, Corporators Jeet Angral, Yash Pal Sharma, Surinder Sharma and Sat Pal Karlupia.
The leaders recalled the noble deeds of revolutionary saint of India Swami Vivekanand and threw light in detail on the life and teachings of Swami Ji.
They said that youth must follow the footsteps of Swami Vivekanand and must fix their goals with concern to their future as well. They also stated that Swami Vivekanand's quote for youth "Arise, Awake and Do not stop till the goal is achieved" should be adopted by every youth and they will themselves see a major change in their life and they can achieve anything which they have desired for in their lives.
