JAMMU, Jan 13: Jammu and Kashmir BJP, Spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, in a statement, said that after reorganization of the erstwhile State of J&K and becoming UT, an era of fast development has begun as the BJP government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is sanctioning one project after the other, which would generate employment and boost economy.
Sharing few such projects, Balbir said that three new projects have been given to Jammu and Kashmir in less than a month, which include Bamboo Project, four mega Power Projects besides establishment of first Homeopathic College.
While Bamboo Project will prove helpful in utilization of huge Bamboo reserves and provide mean of livelihood to the people, power projects will
enable J&K to become power surplus and Homeopathic College would give facility to the students to study Homeopathic system of Medicine within the UT instead of going out to other states.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that efforts of Union MoS and Incharge DONER, Dr. Jitendra Singh, has resulted into bringing Bamboo Project in the UT. The MoS has also been instrumental in getting Homeo-pathic College and on completion, both projects would prove to be big boon for the people.
Balbir said that the people should not fall prey to the false and misleading propaganda of the self claimed leaders of Jammu, whose only agenda is to speak against BJP and PM Narendra Modi.
They should note that first time prestigious institutions like IIT and IIM are being set up in Jammu, this region has got 4 new Medical Collges at Udhampur, Rajouri, Kathua and Doda, while during 60 years of Congress rule, Jammu had only one Medical College. First Homeopathic College is to be established in Kathua and out of four power projects transferred, three are from Jammu region The work on every project is strictly monitored to ensure timely completion and commissioning of first Phase of Ring Road in Jammu is one such live example, he added.
