25 gms heroin recovered, one peddler arrested

JAMMU, Jan 14: During intervening night of 13/14-01-2021, a police team of P/S Nowabad led by SHO P/S Nowabad Inspr. Deepak Jasrotia during patrolling duty rounded up a suspect namely Harmeet Singh @ Vicky S/o Tirath Singh R/o Akali Kour Singh Nagar Digiana coming from workshop side near Fortune hotel towards fish market Chand Nagar.
On search, 25 gms of heroin was recovered from his illegal possession.
On this, case FIR No. 08/21 U/S 08/21/22/25 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Nowabad and the accused was arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
