Dr Ambedkar Jayanti celebrated at Nowshera

Nowshera, Apr 14: An impressive function was organised by Ravi Dass Sabha at Nowshera to mark Dr B R Ambedkar jayanti today in which Former MLC & Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma was the chief guest while several prominent personalities and councillors attended the function.
Rich tributes were paid to the father of the constitution in the large gathering by Ravi Dass Sabha Nowshera in which speakers remembered the contributions of Dr Ambedkar. ZEO Shamsher president of the sabha, Mahatma Inder Dass Chief organiser, Vijay Bakshi senior Congress leader, adv Gourav Prasher, Ch Amarjit, Sarwan Kumar, Raj Kumar, Ch Nazir, Ashok Kumar, Puran pathi, Asha Chandan, Dr sheshpal, Vinay Bhardwaj and several others Paid rich tributes to the great leader.
Addressing the gathering Ravinder Sharma Ex MLC recalled the great contribution of Dr Ambedkar and said that the constitution of India is best document in the world which accomodates the aspirations and rights of all
sections of multi cultural, milti lingual,multi religious and multi coloured Indian society and has stood the test of time in maintaining unity in diversity.
He cutioned against the dangers to the constitution of dr Ambedkar and the basic spirit of democracy by the forces in power and asked those who believe and follow Dr Ambedkar to be vigilant about the designs of such powerful forces.
He said that the Cong-ress party has translated the spirit of the constitution and philosophy of Dr Ambedkar upto grass roots by providing reservation for women and SC ST etc to panch, wards up to BDC, DDCs and all tiers of panchayat raj in the country.
