235th Birth Anniversary of Greatest Dogra Warrior General Zorawar Singh celebrated at Reasi

Reasi, Apr 16: An event took place at the Bhimgarh Fort complex, Reasi in which General Zorawar Singh was remembered on his 235th birth anniversary which was supported by JK Tourism department and Maharaja Gulab Singh Trust.
The program organised by General Zorawar Singh Education & Charitable Trust and it was started by lightning the lamp. After this, flowers were garlanded on General Zorawar Singh's photo and paid rich tribute at the same time. The various Singers came from Jammu & Reasi and expressed their gratitude towards General Zorawar Singh by singing various songs that shows or depicts how brave and praiseworthy was our General Zorawar Singh.
Prof Shalini Rana and Trustee Riya Kalhuria, while highlighting the biography, narrated her heroic saga to all the people. However, in this programe a 3D animated movie was also shown which was based on General Zorawar Singh's lifestyle.
Guests of Honour Mr. World 2016 in Body building Dhananjay Singh Charak, Dogra Turban Expert Manish Singh Jamwal & President WCMP Sandhya Gupta interacted with the people of Reasi and shared their respective experiences with them. They also appreciated the work done by Diksha Kaluria & Riya Kaluria as they both had been doing various social activities.
First Governor of J&K Dr.karan Singh also participated & gave message to public through online mode. He shared very valuable information regarding General Zorawar Singh that how bravely he captured various areas of J&K like Ladakh alongwith Baltistan, Tibet etc.
On this occasion, Trust Chairman Devendra Singh Kalhuria, Sushma Kalhuria Trustee, Municipal Commi-ttee Vice President Yograj Raina, Councilor Dheeraj Gupta, Prof. Shalini Rana, Tariq Bhatt, Anchor-Tush-ar Bhardwaj, Rapper DK Baloria, Singers Bharat Raj Sharma & Sachin Sharma, Rahul Raina, Devendar Jamwal, Anup Bandral, Sunny Rajput, Sudesh Pandotra, Sahil Pathania & others were present.
