Army organizes medical camp

Jammu, Apr 17: Indian Army always remembers its veterans and fallen heroes and genuinely cares about their families. As a mark of gratitude and reaching out to its larger family, a medical camp was organised by Indian Army for Veer Naris, Widows, Ex-servicemen and their dependents of Kishtwar District (J&K).
A team of doctors from the ECHS, Doda comprising medical specialists attended the patients requiring medical care. Also, medicines were distributed to them. A total of one Veer Nari, two Widows, 42 Ex-servicemen and
31 dependents benefited
during the camp.
Ex-servicemen information counter and a stall by Veterans Cell, Kishtwar was also established to provide functional level assistance. The attendees were also apprised with various schemes and facilities being provided to them by Central and State Governments. The beneficiaries of the camp appreciated the efforts of the Army.
