Kapahi distributes Covid-19 kits, Medicines in ward 14

Jammu, May 16: Corporator ward 14, Parmodh Kapahi distributed Covid-19 kits and Covid Medicines among the patients positive for Covid-19 Virus in ward no. 14.
As per the order by DC Jammu, All the BLO's were directed to find the Covid-19 postive patients by visiting every household in every ward under their jurisdiction as many people were hiding being positive for COVID-19 virus due to which the virus is spreading at a faster pace and also to provide them with free Covid-19 Kits and medicines, so that they can get themselves treated as the hospitals are already under heavy load.
So in this regard, today Corporator ward 14, Parmodh Kapahi along with the concerned BLO of ward 14 distributed free Covid-19 kits and medicine to the identified Covid positive patients of ward 14.
After handing over the Covid-19 Kits and medicines, Corporator Parmodh Kapahi said that all the individuals who have not been identified for COVID-19 and are hiding themselves being positive for Covid-19 or are suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 should just acknowledge the disease and get themselves treated rather than hiding and spreading the virus even more.
He further appealed the general public to follow the lockdown as it has been implemented for their safety only and not to wander outside needlessly and wear masks and practice social distancing while at a public place.
