Admin retrieves 225 Kanal Govt land in Marh, Mandal

JAMMU, Sep 17: A team of district administration Jammu today retrieved 225 Kanal government land in Marh and Mandal blocks.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Anshul Garg, a team led by Tehsildar Marh Rampaul Sharma conducted the anti-encroachment drive and retrieved 119 kanal encroached government land under Khasra number 1249 Min at village Ghoumanhasan.
A chunk of 105 Kanal Government land under Khasra number 75 Min was also retrieved at Village Teda of Tehsil Mandal. Boards depicting "Government Land" were placed on the retrieved land in presence of police and revenue authorities
Recently, 29 Kanal and 14 Marlas of land was also retrieved at village Chowadi, Tehsil Bahu, Jammu out of which two Kanal was handed over to PDD for the construction of a Receiving Station at Chowadi.
