Absconding terrorist nabbed after two decades

JAMMU, Sep 17: Police on Friday arrested one absconding terrorist after twenty years in Kishtwar district .
Police said that on a specific information received through reliable sources, one special police team from Mawah was constituted.
The team led by Station House Officer, Marwah Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed alongwith his team raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder.
The arrested former terrorist turned absconder, identified as Abdul Gani alias Mavia, resident of Rar Marwah, Kishtwar, wanted in a case registered at Police Station Marwah.
Thereafter, police said that the absconder has been produced before the Court Kishtwar and accordingly on the orders, he has been lodged in judicial custody.
