Two coursesprogramme organized at SKPAU

Udhampur, Sep 20: Two courses on "GO's Refresher Course" and "Cyber Forensics" were inaugurated in the Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur today.
Mohd. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhampur Reasi Range was the Chief Guest on the occasion. 24 Deputy Superintendents of Police are participating in the GOs refresher course whereas 15 NGOs are participated in the Cyber Forensics Course. During the introductory address Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP Dy. Director (Indoor) SKPAU welcomed the chief guest on behalf of Director SKPA, Udhampur and made a brief description on the theme of the courses together with design and objectives.
In the inaugural address, Mohd. Suleman Choudhary, IPS expressed need to tackle crimes in the virtual space, investigation skills necessary for ensuring convictions, the incidents going viral and their management, the growing threats of internal security and preparedness necessary for J&K Police to tackle all the challenges.
The audience was informed that holding such courses is the endeavour of DGP J&K and unrelenting efforts of Director of the Academy.
The inaugural session was also attended by Dr. Kavita Suri, Director Deptt. of lifelong learning, University of Jammu, Ramesh Kumar Pvt. Secy. to Director SKPA, K.K. Sharma, AD(Q).
The course is being coordinated by Suraj Singh AD (Training/ R&D), & Sunmati Gupta, Asstt. Director (Outdoor) SKPA, Udhampur.
