BJP installs statue of Maharaja Hari Singh at party headquarter

JAMMU, Sep 23: Remembering last Dogra ruler of J&K State, Maharaja Hari Singh ji in an inspiring manner on his birthday, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, installed statue of Maharaja at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina along with MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, Major General Govardhan Singh and other BJP senior leaders unveiled the statue amid much fanfare and presence of large number of prominent civil society members and party leaders and activists.

Vikram Randhawa, Arvind Gupta, Veenu Khanna, Anju Dogra, Spokespersons Brig. Anil Gupta, R S Pathania, Balbir Ram Rattan & Dr. Tahir Choudhary, Parmod Kapahi, Karan Singh, Munish Sharma, Rashpal Verma, Tilak Raj Gupta, Sanjay Baru, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Vinay Gupta, Ayodhya Gupta, Baldev Billawaria, Brahmjot Satti, Prem Gupta, Karan Singh, Surinder Choudhary, Jugal Dogra, Lucky Puri, Rajiv Charak, Neelam Langeh, Sanjay Khanna, Nand Kishore and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
Statue of Maharaja Hari Singh ji was prepared and gifted by famous Jammu artist Ravinder Jamwal, the artist behind statues of Dogra heroes of Jammu. J&K BJP Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi coordinated with the artist in making the statue and also managed the whole course since the idea of installing statue in BJP office was finalized.
Ravinder Raina while unveiling the statue showered praises on the artist Ravinder Jamwal and Yudhvir Sethi for the effort. He recalled how BJP installed various statues of Maharaj at prominent places in Jammu. He termed the day as very auspicious on which Maharaja's statue is installed and unveiled at BJP office. He termed the Maharaj as true nationalist and recalled his role for Independence of Bharat. He termed Maharaj as a great freedom fighter saying that his role in Round Table Conference was unmatched. He also said that former PM Jawahar Lal Nehru played very negative role in the history of J&K and Maharaja Hari Singh ji and still today the important parts of J&K are in illegal occupation of Pakistan and China due to Pt. Nehru. He said that Maharaj had to live last days of his life in exile due to Pt. Nehru and former CM Sheikh Abdullah. We will very soon hoist Tiranga in all parts of J&K like Gilgit, Baltistan, Aksai Chin etc. which were made parts of Bharat through final Instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh ji, he stressed.
Jugal Kishore Sharma thanked the artist for gifting the statue to BJP and said that the great movement like Praja Parishad was guided by the Maharaja. He said that Maharaja was a great social reformer of his times. He added that this statue will guide everyone who enters the premises of BJP headquarter.
