JMC conducts anti-encroachment drive

JAMMU, Jan 14: Under the instructions of Commissioner, JMC, Ms. Avny Lavasa (IAS) while further continuing and intensifying the anti- encroachments drive to clear the footpath/pavements/road side the Enforcement /Revenue staff led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue on 14.01.2022 conducted an anti-encroachment drive at Indira Chowk / Panama Chowk area and seized materials/goods/articles kept by shopkeepers on footpath/pavements and also seized Rehris installed illegally on footpath/ road side.
Further, Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to all its citizens particularly shopkeepers / vendors not to encroach upon footpaths / pavement as the same cause inconvenience to the pedestrians and also create obstruction in the free movement of vehicular traffic.
