Community level measures discussed for Covid control in Bhaderwah

BHADARWAH, Jan 15: A meeting of civil society members and public representatives was today held here under the Chairma-nship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rakesh Kumar to discuss Community level measures for control of Covid pandemic in the backdrop of sudden spike in the cases.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar, BDO, BMO, SHO, Naib Tehsildar Khas, NT Bhalra, public representatives, President Beopar Mandal & members of civil society.
The ADC sought the cooperation of the participants in the Covid Control measures of the administration by advising the people to go for voluntary testing and staying indoors.
The ADC said that testing is imperative to detect the positive cases for breaking the transmission chain. He appealed the people to cooperate with the health teams tasked for conducting tests at designated places. He directed police administration & Municipal officers to make announcement to make public aware of the 3rd wave of deadly disease and to follow covid control measures like wearing masks, maintaining social distances and avoiding gatherings.
He appealed the religious representatives to avoid large gatherings at religious places and also to make masks and use of sanitizer compulsory.
The police officers were directed to enforce the weekend lockdown as announced in the entire UT in letter and spirit. The participating officers /officials and other civil participants assured the administration of their full cooperation.
