Kavinder starts development works in Ward 20

JAMMU, Jan 20: Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta along with Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu, Vinay Gupta BJP District President and Rahul Kumar (Councilor Ward 20) started development works of Justice Mehar Chand Park situated in Ward No 20 with an estimated cost of Rs 11 lakh.
It is pertinent to mention that the aforesaid work comprised of creating gym, walking pavements, lighting arrangements, benches and many other facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said that the government led by LG Manoj Sinha has accomplished so many things to carry out development works as never before. He said that the people should extend the support to government to contain the virus corona as the same has dented the plans meant for the development for over two years now.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta said that the JMC has taken out of the box initiatives to ensure a clean and green Jammu with people getting opportunities to grow and ensure peace in the UT. Rahul Kumar Corporator Ward 20 said that the initiative taken by him will go a long way in settling down people in the vicinity and offer them good number of deals as the gardens and parks are being given special affinity in the UT of J&K to make these public spaces exemplary for the people as well as tourists.
Among others who were present include Neeraj (Lucky) Puri (President-Gandhi Nagar Mandal), Narinder Gupta, Rachit Khosla (Secretary- BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal), Jugal Mahajan, Sandeep Gupta, Rohiin Chandan, Rajesh Khullar, Satbir Singh, Rikki Gupta, Ashwani Gupta (Xen JMC), Deep Kumar (AEE JMC) and Danish Kotwal (JE JMC).
