Inter-school tournament for Boys, Girls begins in Kishtwar District

KISHTWAR, May 17: Inter-school tournaments for U 14 and U 17 boys and Girls in the disciplines of Speed ball, Table Tennis, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, badminton, volleyball and Yoga began today across different Educational zones of district Kishtwar.
The sports events being held under the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports officer Kharati Lal Sharma were kick-started at Inderwal, Nagseni, Drab-shalla and Kishtwar zones. Speedball and table tennis matches were held at Al-Hilal educational institute Kishtwar under the guidance of Javed Kripak (Convener).
At zone Inderwal, Volleyball & Kabaddi matc-hes were held at Higher Secondary School Mughal Maidan by Rakesh Dogra, the Principal of the host school in presence of inch-arge ZPEO Sanjay Sharma & senior most Physical education Master Ram Suroop Bandari. Yoga competition was held at HSS Boys in presence of chief guest Krishan Lal Sharma, Vice Principal & Ravi Kumar in charge ZPEO Kishtwar.
