Inter-school Zonal Level Tournament begin at GHSS Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, May 17: Inter-school zonal level tournament for Under 14 and 17 boys and girls in the disciplines of Chess, Carrom, Athletics, Wrest-ling, Kabaddi, Badminton and Volleyball began here today at Govt. Higher Secondary School Bhader-wah under the patronage of District Youth Service and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Doda Jaffar Haider Sheikh & under the overall supervision ZEPO Bhaderwah.
The Principal of GHSS Boys Dr. Anis declared the tournament open in the presence of field staff of Zone Bhaderwah and sports lovers. He advised the student players to play the game for the sake of game & maintain discipline. The technical committees officiated the competitions held in different disciplines and age groups.
In Under 17 Volleyball matches, GHSS Sartingal defeated GHSS Chinta, and GHS Manthala defeated GHSS Boys Bhaderwah.
In Under 14 Kabbadi matches, GMS Puneja defeated GMS Hanga, while GMS Butla defeated GMS Naltha and GMS Bhouda beat GMS Chinta. In Under 17 Kabbadi, GHS Manthala beat GHSS Sartingal, while GHSS Boys Bhaderwah defeated GHS Bheja.
Similarly, In under 17 Kho-Kho, GHS Nichla Thara beat HSS Boys Bhaderwah, while in Under 14 Chess UPS Nalthi beat GHS Manthala.
