Dharmarth Trust felicitates Div Com, anticipates support for enhancing facilities at temples

JAMMU, May 17: J&K Dharmarth Trust felicitated the Divisional Commissioner Jam-mu, Ramesh Kumar after he took charge recently, here at his Office on Tuesday.
Advocate Ajay Gandotra, President Dharmarth Trust along with Secretary Dr Gopal Parthasarthi Sharma and Additional Secretary Varinder Jamwal presented him a bouquot, memento and Mata Ki Chunri. The Dharmarth Trust Office bearers & the Divisional Commissioner held threadbare discussions with regard to enhancing the facilities for the visiting devotees in the temples and shrines being looked after by the Trust.
The President of the Trust highlighted the issues which were required to be addressed on priority & sought Divisional Commissioner's cooperation in the matter. The officer was also apprised about the way the Trust was managing things since last over one hundred years offering cozy environs to the visitors from within and outside the State of J&K (Now UT) with people leaving the temple city with extreme satisfaction & lots of thanksgiving. He however sought Govern-ment's help in providing civic edifice surrounding the temples being run under the aegis of Trust & certain other facilities which only Government can afford as the same are beyond the scope of Trust's expenditure.
After having detailed discussion, the Divisional Commi-ssioner expressed happiness over the style of functioning of the Dharmarth Trust especially on account of providing succor to visitors and devotees coming to J&K from other states and even abroad. He said that he was really impressed by the way the Trust is managing things in a meticulous and flawless manner. He assured wholehearted support in complementing the efforts of the Trust and sought some time to assess how he could augment things in a positive manner for development of the temples and shrines in J&K.
