BJP Member KVIC interacts with BJP leaders

JAMMU, May 18: Basant, Member of Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC), North Zone interacted with the senior BJP leadership at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Basant was on the 3 day tour of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, in which he met with various groups, NGOs and other organizations to promote self -reliance in the related small and medium level industries.
In BJP headquarter he interacted with the former Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, DDCs, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillors senior BJP leaders to discuss the promotion of the schemes coming under the ambit of KVIC.
He was also accompanied by Former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, J&K BJP General Secretary & former Minister Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, DDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta and former Minister Chander Prakash Ganga.
Senior BJP leadership during the interaction session discussed various schemes with him that can provide benefits to the local youth.
He said that the Commission is doing its best to promote entrepreneurship among the people with a concept that more and more people should turn into job providers rather than job seekers.
He also explained various loan schemes especially in the rural sector related to the service and production sector and the benefits for the start-ups. He said that the BJP leadership must play an active role in taking these schemes to the people by holding awareness camps along the Commi-ssion and the Board of KVIC.
Kavinder Gupta earlier welcomed him and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has made immense progress in self-reliance and is no longer dependent on imports. He said that when every person will think of the opportunity in the persisting problems around him or her, the power to transform the Nation will be generated. He also expressed strong confidence that the J&K will create an example in self -reliance in near future.
Chander Prakash Ganga thanked the member KVIC for his informative session, while the programme proceedings were managed by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal.
