Play Way House Higher Secondary School organizes investiture ceremony

JAMMU, May 20: Play Way House Higher Secondary School organizes investiture ceremony on a grand note. It is quite a unique process at PWHS to elect the student leaders for different process to achieve the goal of "Overall Personality Development" of a student. Students were given a fair and democratic chance to nominate themselves to handle various departments.
Once all the nominations are received, the student leaders were elected in the Open Assembly where the students were asked to vote for the candidate. The School Administration Team also brainstormed the candidate's ability of leading the given process.
For this year, voting for the House Captains, Class Leader, Class Academic and campus Leaders for the different processes was done. The process was done on a very transparent manner and basis. At PWHS, we mean what we say. To inculcate the same quality in our students, the student managers who manage the different processes were asked to present their goals to be achieved for the year. They were motivated to come up with new ideas to enhance the quality of process managed by them. They came up with their own ideas with collective brain storming.
The training of the future leaders starts with the process of making them acclimatized with the system. All the elected student managers for different committees were asked to present their goals to the school.
The programme started by offering prayers to Goddess Saraswati in which students were invested by the Chief Guest Chander Mohan Gupta. Respected Principal, Mrs Anita Kaul Ambardar along with Academic Director Arun Ambardar administered the oath to the student managers who promised to perform their duties with diligence. All the students also took an oath that they would offer their best support to the student leaders to run the system very smoothly at PWHS. This year students were privileged to have Mr. Gupta.... Mayor of the town as Chief Guest for the function.
The Chief Guest was requested to light the lamp. Once all the student managers were handed over the responsibilities all the students moved to the school Hall followed by a Question and Answer session. Mr. Gupta was patient enough to answer all the questions of the students and appreciated the spirit of the students for the quality of questions raised. He also gave a message that one need not be very intelligent to become successful but should have focus commitment and skills to go up the ladder in life.
