24/09/2022

The borders of Jammu and Kashmir, which used to always look like fire owing to frequent shelling from Pakistan, are now seeing prosperity. Paragliding experts are seen paragliding in the air in Ajot village of Gulpur near the Line of Control in the border district of Poonch.
The Indian Army is busy protecting the country along the Line of Control and is making every possible effort to take these areas on the path of development. A fresh example of this is the border district. In the Gulpur village of Poncho, where the Rajput Battalion, under the Poonch Brigade, organized a paragliding event on the 20th and 21st of this month for the purpose of promoting tourism.
The atmosphere of Gulpur village which was once filled with smoke from heavy Pakistani shelling now offers a symbol of peace in the form of Paragliders. School students, social organizations, political activists, tourism department officials and army officers were specially present to witness these ecstatic scenes. An expert team for paragliding from Himachal Pradesh was called by the army, who on surprised people near the Line of Control by performing paragliding stunts from the hills of Gulpur Ajot, very close to the LoC. The people living in the border areas are appreciating such a move by the army. Local people including school students were also seen cheering up the paragliding experts by raising slogans of 'Bhartiya Fauj Zindabad'. The DGP has recently said that they won’t take much time to wipe out anti-peace elements, terrorists in J&K. The administration is leaving no stone unturned to bring back peace in Jammu and Kashmir. Under Modi led govt and UT admin, we are heading towards peace.
