SMVDU Vice Chancellor receives Elite Academician Award

KATRA, Sep 25: Padma Shri Professor (Dr.) Ravin-dra Kumar Sinha, Vice Chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, Jammu & Kashmir was awarded 'Elite Acad-emician Award' for his outstanding contribution to the Academics at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 23rd September 2022 by the IEEE (Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) of United States of America. Prof. Akshay Kumar Rathore of Conco-rdia University, Montreal, Canada, who is serving as IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Awards Department chair conferred the award to Prof. Sinha. IEEE, USA is the world's largest technical professional organisation dedicated to advancing technology for the benefits of humanity. There are over 4.09 lakh members in more than 160 countries. It sponsors more than 2000 conferences and events in 96 countries while contributing over 36 lakh total conference papers to IEEE Explore since 1936 with as many as 2 lakh new papers added annually. Members are engineers, scientists & allied professionals whose technical interests are routed in electrical and computer sciences, engineering & related disciplines.
