Pathseekers School celebrates Grandparents’ Day

JAMMU, Sep 25: In order to foster honour, dignity and respect for elders (grandparents) among its students, the Pathseekers School, Ramgarh (Samba), today celebrated Grandparents' Day.
On the occasion, Shri Randhir Singh, JKPS, Sr. Superintendent of Police, was the Chief Guest. Ms. Priyanka Kumari, JKPS, SDPO, Vijaypur & CEO Municipality BD-Bari Sh. Jodh Raj were the guests of honour.
The visiting dignitaries applauded the efforts made by the school for organising a function pertaining to an important element of the society, i.e., respect for elders. Grandparents of the students belonging to the primary wing were invited as special guests, who not only enjoyed seeing various sports and cultural performances presented by their grand wards, but also revived their youthful energy and vigour by participating in various fun-filled activities.
Some of the grandparents who spoke on the occasion acknowledged the initiative of the school for organizing this event that not only honoured them but also provided them an opportunity to spend moments to cherish with their grandchildren.
A special skit performance that highlighted love and sacrifices made by the elders for their families caught everyone's attention.
S. Bhupinder Singh, Chairman, Pathseekers International School applauded the toddlers and staff for organizing such a mesmerizing show. The Principal Mrs. Manpreet Kaur thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to the children.
