Delay in the recruitment process

Every Nation considers Youth as its Future, and as such every nation has Policies to Preserve and train youth for a better Future of the Nation. It is a matter of proud that UT of Jammu & Kashmir has a hefty number of young population between age group of 18-33 years, but at the same time in all circumstances we have to find answer of the Question, whether the Administration of the UT of J & K has Policies which are Capable enough to make youth the Future of the Union Territory. As per a recent study 55% youth of J&K, between age group 18-33 are suffering from mental illness. It is a big matter of concern. Among various reasons for this one is the highest unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir. As per a recent Survey unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir is 32.75 % which is the 2nd Highest in India.
If we try to find out some of the reasons for this increased unemployment rate in UT, we will find not one but numerous reasons for this increased unemployment. Corruption, Nepotism and Favoritism had been a very old evil in J&K. In recent times scraping of three important recruitment among them one being for filling 1200 posts of Sub-Inspectors, is the evidence of the presence of this evil. Lt Gov Manoj Sinha deserves uploads and appreciations for his efforts to eliminate this evil, but his efforts are not proving to be sufficient enough to eradicate this, as recently held various examinations are also under suspicions. For example aspirants of recently conducted examination by JKPSC for filling vacancies of Prosecution Officers are raising their Voices. Among other reasons, one of the reasons is that in J&K most of the recruitment processes takes a long time for its completion. For example Recruitment process of KAS 2016. It started in 2016 and completed in 2019. If we analyze some recruitment processes in recent time, we will find that recruitment for class 4th posts is yet to be concluded even after lapse of near about 3 years.
Similarly there are numerous posts which are lying with JKSSB and JKPSC the recruitment process of which is yet to be completed even after laps of many years. JKAS 2021 and J&K Prosecution 2021 is yet to be concluded and result of JKAS 2021 Mains is yet to be declared even after 20 Months. Presumably corruption, nepotism, favoritism and time consuming recruitment processes has been some of the main reasons for increased unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. To curb down these menace from Jammu and Kashmir, the administration of the Union Territory have to take some coercive steps. The officials who are dealing with recruitment processes are needed to be made accountable for their work. They must be directed to process the files relating to recruitment rules and preparing and sending the indents in a time bound manner. Your newspaper JOURNEY LINE had been highlighting issues of public importance in past and will continue the same in future too.
