5 days training programme for Investigators on “Safety of Women” commences at SKPAU

Udhampur, Sep 26: 05 days training programme for Investigators on "Safety of Women" sponsored by BPR&D New Delhi which commenced on 20th of September 2022 at S.K. Police Academy Udhampur concluded today. Twenty five (25) Police Officers of the rank of ASI to Inspector which include 10 female officers attended the training programme.
The course was designed to accommodate investigation skills and knowledge of latest provisions of law including POCSO, JJ Act, IT Act, etc. To achieve the objective of the training programme, experienced guest speakers including Prof. Vishav Raksha, Head Department of Sociology University of Jammu, Kamal Sharma, CPO, CID Headquarters J&K, Nayeem Abbas Hamdami, Jr. Cyber Consultant and faculty of the Academy shared their wide range of knowledge on the related subjects.
The valediction was also attended by Pawan Kumar Sharma, SP, Sunmati Gupta, Asstt. Director (Q), Vishal Manhas, Administ-rative Officer, Asstt. Director (Outdoor) and Chander Mohan, Inspr. Incharge Trainings/R&D SKPA. The course was coordinated by Sanjeev Gupta, Inspector and Nasser Mahmood Naik, Inspector (Member faculty).
