Symposium on “Truth and Non- Violence” organized

Jammu, Sep 26: As a part of ongoing Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations NSS Unit, EBSB Unit, AKAM and Shikshit Bharat organized symposium on the theme "Truth and Non- Violence". under the patronage of worthy Principal, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Neena Gupta, Convener AKAM and Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Program Officer and Prof. Renu Sharma, Convener Shikshit Bharat.
Students of different semesters spoke on the given topic. Sakshi Bhagat of Semester 1st secured first position, Riya Sharma and Ashish Kumar of semester 1st secured second and third position respectively.
Certificates were given to the winners of the competition.
NSS PO also spoke on the occasion. She stressed upon the need to follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhiji.
Principal of the college while interacting with the students encourage them to imbibe the Gandhian values as they have become more relevant in today's materialistic and violent world. He also appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and applauded the efforts of all the participants.
The entire event was co-ordinated by Prof. Sukhwinder Kour and Prof. Vijay Kumari.
