Awareness Campaign in Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura

JAMMU, Sep 28: As a part of month-long events on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, the Tobacco Control/Free Committee of Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura under the banner to celebrate "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" organized awareness campaign with theme "Say No To Drugs" in which group of students were dispatched to the rural areas to spread awareness and sensitized rural people about the ill effects of Drug abuse and illicit trafficking. About 50 students participated in the events accompanied by committee members consisting of Prof. Ahsan Ahmed (Convener), Prof. Swati, Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, Prof. Sukhwinder Kour, Mohd Arief and other teaching faculties which penetrated in the hinterland. The students pamphlets to the people and hope that they will muster the support of youths in controlling the risk of Drug menace. The campaign was conducted and culminated under the supervision of and chairmanship of worthy Principal Prof. Sunil Uppal and IQAC coordinator Dr. Jaipal Singh.
