GDC RS Pura organises Awareness Programme

Jammu, Sep 29: As a part of ongoing celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2022, NSS unit of Govt. Degree College, R. S. Pura organised an Awareness Programme in ICDS center Ward No.12 B.
The event was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college, Prof.Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Bindu Kumari, NSS Programme Officer.
The volunteers interacted with the workers and children in the ICDS Centre and acquainted them with the role of balanced diet in the growth and development of children.
Ms. Renu Sharma, ,Anganwadi worker and Ms. Neetu Sharma, Anganwadi helper helped in coordinating the whole event.NSS Volunteers also collected data regarding gender, age, weight and height of the children in the ICDS Centre..
The Principal of the college encouraged the NSS committee and the volunteers to actively take part in such events.
