Rajan Puri Charitable Dispensary organizes free eye camp

JAMMU, Nov 29: Rajan Puri Charitable Dispensary (Regd.) organized a free eye camp in collaboration with Freedom Fighters Memo-rial Association (FFMA), Jammu at Vinayak Bazar, below Gumat Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Rajinder Sharma, Mayor Jammu in the presence of FFMA and Dispensary members.
More than 500 people visited and availed the free eye checkup by the specialists from Medical College, Jammu.
The team from Freed-om Fighters Memorial Association who provided their services in the camp included Ravinder Mittal, Karnail Singh and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Mahajan, Chairman of Freedom Fighters Memorial Asso-ciation assured that these camps will be organized periodically with more facilities shall be added in future.
He assured that he will provide more funds to the Rajan Puri dispensary for its upliftment as the dispensary is purely charity based, depending upon donors and limited government aid. He also gave donation to the dispensary.
In her address, Dr. Jugal Puri, President of the Rajan Puri charitable dispensary reminded that Rajan Puri charitable dispensary was established in the year 1987 purely for charitable purpose and provides free consultation and medicines to the patients as majority of patients belong to below poverty line and weaker sections of the society.
She thanked the chairman and the team of FFMA for their support and help in organization of the camp.
She also thanked T R Gupta for his service in the form of heavy donation provided to the dispensary.
She also expressed gratitude to Dr. Satish Gupta and his team for sparing their valuable time for this noble cause. Jitender Bhardwaj, Secretary of the dispensary in his address highlighted the demands of the dispensary. Others present were Corporator Ward 19 Amit Gupta, S.S Bhalwal (President, FFMA), Karnail Chand Thakur (General Secretary), Pritam Sharma, Gharu Ram (Vice Presidents), Prabhat Kapahi (Office Secretary), Shubham Abrol and others.
