One day awareness camp organized by Civil Defence Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 28: One day awareness programme was held at Johar Nagar New Plot, Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SPAnita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. The awareness programme was attended by 100 civilians including ladies of the area. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Man-made Disaster. A demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team.
On the occasion Dy. SP. Anita Pawar delivered valuable lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization.
Besides others who was present on the occasion were Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Jagdish Kumar Division Warden CD Jammu, Vinod kumar Divisional Warden CD Jammu, Swarn Singh Post Warden CD Jammu and Rajan Bhardwaj Sector Warden CD Jammu.
