DDC Chairperson Poonch reviews progress achieved under District Capex 2022-23

POONCH, Jan 29: Chair-person District Develop-ment Council Poonch, Tazeem Akther, today chaired a daylong meeting here in conference Hall of Dak Banglow to review the status of developmental projects being undertaken under District Capex 2022-23 and other schemes being implemented in the District. Additional District Develo-pment Commissioner, Mali-kzada Sheraz Ul Haq; Divisional Forest Officer, Suresh Manda; Chief Plann-ing Officer, Maqsood Ahm-ed; PO ICDS, Khalid Huss-ain; ACD, Abid Hussain Shah; ACR Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi; GM DIC, Dr.Zakir Hussain; CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohammad Tanveer; CMO, Dr Shamim Bhatti; SDM Mendhar, Mohd. Jahangir Khan; ACP, Naheem Un Nissa Bhatti; CHO, Sanjeev Sharma; CEO Municipality, Harvinder Singh; CEO Education, Bishamber Das, DIO, Vishaldeep Chandan; AD Food, Ranjeet Singh; DYSSO, Mohd Qasim; Executive Engineers, All BDO's, besides other Distr-ict & sectoral officers atten-ded the meeting. At the outset, the ADDC/CEO District Development Council appr-ised the meeting about the physical & financial status of ongoing projects under district Capex 2022-23. The concerned Officer apprai-sed the meeting about various works under R&B, PM-GSY, PHE, PDD, Health, Education, Forest, Agricul-ture, Sports, Tourism & other sectors schemes of their departments.
DDC/BDC's has discussed & raised important issues regarding the development of their concerned areas like Maintenance of minor irrigation canals at Mankote, construction of protection wall at TFC Chak Da Bagh, procurement of medical equipments under BDC/DDC grants, construction of sub centre at Qasba & Khawarian, Providing of additional ambulance at PHC Chandimarh, besides other important issues were also discussed. The DDC members also raised the demand of the blacktopping of roads for the convenience of the general public.
Speaking in the meeting, the DDC chairperson stressed the concerned officers to mobilize the resources at work places and speed up the pace of developmental works with strict adherence to the quality parameters.
