Theft case solved, stolen electronic items worth Rs 200000 recovered

Jammu, Jan 29: A complaint was lodged at PS Domana Jammu regarding theft in a house at Durga nagar, chinore Jammu area under the jurisdiction of PS Domana. On the receipt of this information, a case FIR No. 311/2022 U/s 457/380 IPC was registered at P/S Domana and investigation started.
On this special police teams of PS Domana under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Domana Inspr Tilak Raj assisted by PSI Anoop Kotwal did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up a suspected person namely Mohd Mukeem S/o Lt Jameel Ahmed R/o Migrant colony, Talwara, Reasi.
During sustained questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above mentioned case and on his disclosure following stolen items were recovered from his possession:
2 LED's, 2 laptops, 1 tablet & 1 camera and one bicycle worth Rs 2,00,000.
The overall operation was done under the supervision of SP Rural Rahul Charak. Further investigation of the case is going on.
