Mir welcomes new entrants into party folds

JAMMU, Jan 30: A Sarpanch Makhan Lal along with dozens of supporters from Udhampur today joined Apni Party.
The joining programme was organised by Provincial Vice President Jammu and Ex-MLA Faqir Nath here at Apni Party Office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Party's Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir welcomed the new entrants into the party and expressed hope that their joining would strengthen the party at the ground level in Udhampur.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir said that the joining of leaders from different political parties shows that Apni Party has gained ground in Udhampur district also like other regions of Jammu and Kashmir due to its politics of telling the truth to the people without exploiting their emotions.
He appreciated the new entrants into the party and asked the party leaders to work among the people to make people aware about the policy and agenda of Apni Party.
He said that "The people of both the regions are demanding restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and holding of assembly elections to address the growing issues of the people whether it is unemployment, issues of providing basic amenities, protection to the natural resources."
He said that the Apni Party is committed to work for the upliftment of the living standard of the people and accordingly,
the party has assured to implement social security schemes in Jammu and Kashmir's both regions.
He appreciated the district unit of Udhampur for their dedication to resolve the public issues.
Ex-MLA Faqir Nath highlighted the issues of Udhampur district and referred to the underdevelopment, health, educational and other issues. Prominent among those who attended the programme Provincial Secre-tary / District President Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, SC State Coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat, State President Apni Trade Union, Ajaz Kazmi, State General Secretary youth wing Abhay Bakaya, District President Udhampur Hansraj Dogra and senior leader women wing Rupali Rani.
