DPS Udhampur hosts workshop on Financial Literacy

JAMMU, Feb 1: Finan-cial literacy is the possession of the set of skills & knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions with all of their financial resources.
As we all know that People with appropriate financial literacy training will make better financial decisions and manage money better than those without such training. Keeping the importance of financial literacy in changing scenario of the world, Delhi Public Sch-ool Udhampur organized Cbse workshop on financial Literacy so that teachers may plan well for systematic savings to fulfill the future requirements.
Very learned Resou-rce Person appointed by the CBSE Mr. Sunil Kumar who has worked as one of the leading CA firm of Udhampur (RHVP & Co), Registered member of AMFI (Association of mutual funds of India) having total of 10 years' experience in taxation and 7 years in the field of financial products cleared all the doubts related to equity, recurring and investments.
Dr JC Gupta Pro Vice Chairman DPS Udham-pur, welcomed this initiative of CBSE of hosting this workshop at DPSU.
He welcomed the Resource person and teachers from various CBSE schools of District Udhampur to DPS Udhampur campus.
Dr Kunal Anand, Principal DPSU & District Training Coordi-nator CBSE CoE Chan-digarh, in his welcome address greeted the reso-urce person and all participating teachers for this unique workshop and first of its kind workshop on Financial Liter-acy. The program begin with the lighting of the auspious ceremonial lamp by the resource person along with Mr Vivek Gupta MD of DPSU and Mrs Sucheta Gupta, Dr. Kunal Anand along with Headmistress Ms Bhanvi Sharma & Chief CCA coordinator Mrs Rakhi Gupta.
