Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2 star Shraddha Kapoor has been chosen as the face of the sixth edition of India Bridal Fashion Week.
The actor, who was last seen walking the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta at the recently concluded India Couture Week, said she is excited about her association with the upcoming fashion extravaganza. The actor donned the look of a traditional Indian bride in a blue and pink lehanga choli by J J Vallaya at today’s official announcement of the India Bridal Fashion Week, which commences on August 7. “A bridal outfit automatically transforms you to some other world, in a world of celebration. You just feel so different and happy so I am really glad to associate with the Bridal Fashion Week,” Shraddha said. Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani will open the event while Vallaya will close the fashion week, which will also include lavish bridal collections by Suneet Varma, Raghavendra Rathore, Jyotsna Tiwari, Meera Muzaffar Ali, Ashima Leena, Gauri and Nainika, Falguni and Shane Peacock at the DLF Emporio here. “It gives me immense pleasure to announce the Bridal Fashion week which is synonymous with luxury and presenting latest trends and designs in bridal couture by the most acclaimed designers of the country,” said Vijay Singh, founder of the India Bridal Fashion Week.Subscribe to me on YouTube
