ASN School conducts Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition

JAMMU, OCTOBER 01: The Management of A.S.N. Hr. Sec. School, Channi Himmat, Jammu today conducted Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition in which 45 students from following schools participated in two different categories.
Mr. Neeraj Sharma IAS, Addl Deputy Commissioner, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the Occasion while Mr. A.K.Kapoor, Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust & Chief Editor, The Excel Express presided over the function where as Mrs. Smita Sethi KAS, Joint Director Information, Jammu; Mr. Randheer Singh KPS, SP Hqtrs, Jammu; Mrs. P.B. Kapoor, M.D. Adarsh Educational Trust and Mr. K.S. Jasrotia, Addl SP Security, Jammu were the Guests of Honour. Mr. Harish Kaila, Music Composer Radio Kashmir Jammu and Mr. Shailender Slathia, Asstt Registrar, CU were Judges for the Inter-School Poem Recitation Competition.
The function started with presentation of bouquets to the guests followed by welcome address presented by Mr. Rahul Kapoor, Secretary Adarsh Educational Trust. Mr. Ritesh Kapoor, Administrator of the school briefed the audience about the rules and regulations of the event.
He also briefed about the felicitation ceremony. There were two rounds of the competition and students recited wonderful and lovely poems which were highly appreciated by the audience. After the competition, The Excel Express felicitated Ms. Smita Sethi KAS, Mr. Randheer Singh KPS and Mr. K.S. Jasrotia with the most coveted Mahatma Gandhi Sadhbanva Awards.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Smita Sethi appreciated the role of the host school in organizing such level of Inter School Competition. She said that kindergarten is such an age which pampers the elders and sweetness of child adds charm on everyone's faces. She congratulated the participants and their schools for encouraging the students to participate in such events.
Mr. Randheer Singh during the address lauded the role of teacher student relation and added that this bond is such a healthy bond that lasts forever and student remembers their teachers throughout their lives. He congratulated the participants and also expressed gratitude towards the management of the Excel Express Newspaper for taking an initiative in organizing such a wonderful programme. Mr. Kulwant Singh Jasrotia said that schooling is the start of the life and these budding children have proved that in an innocent manner.
