Army organises medical camp at Mahore

Jammu: 30 Oct 2014, A medical camp was organized by the Bagga Rashtriya Rifles battalion under the Uniform Force for the residents of remotely located village Bharansal in Gulabgarh area of Mahore Tehsil, today. Medical checkup, distribution of medicines and lecture on aspects of health and hygiene, first aid and Swatch Bharat campaign was conducted during the medical camp.
The medical camp planned by the Battalion included a team of military doctor and nursing assistants who along with medicines and stores, trekked to Bharansal, a small village situated on the foothills of the Pir Panjal Mountains. Braving the rainy weather, the team reached the village and conducted the camp wherein 87 males, 43 females, and 55 children were attended. The gesture of the Indian Army was appreciated by the locals who complimented the Indian Army objective of providing basic healthcare facilities at their door step and creating awareness regarding childcare, heath, hygiene and first aid techniques.
