Kavinder intensify election campaign

JAMMU: BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency Kavinder Gupta intensified his election campaign while extensively touring Wards No. 20, 21, 43, 50, 52, 54 and 69 to address public and seek support in his favour. He was given warm receptions by the party activists and the general public in these wards. Kavinder Gupta was addressing the meetings, said that the people have seen the rule of NC, Congress and PDP and realized that the successive governments always gave preferential treatment to Kashmir and discriminated with Jammu and Ladakh regions. The Gandhi Nagar constituency too did not get the due attention as a result of which many areas here are still under developed despite high claims of the sitting MLA. He said that a MLA gets six years time to serve the people and it is not a small period but the period is used for personal benefits rather than devoting towards the welfare and upliftement of weaker sections ensuring basic amenities etc. Kavinder Gupta, while appealing to vote for BJP, said that it is the need of the hour that the parties which ruled after independence should be shown the door and bring in BJP which has commitment for common masses and which stands for ending corruption, dynasty rule and working to give people friendly government.
Priya Jral, Sanjeev Jangir, Sudershan Trilochan, Prerna Nayyar, Kripal Jasrotia, Rajesh Khullar, Surjeet Choudhary, Munish Sharma, Ishant Gupta, Kulbeer Charak, Surya Singh and Ranjeet Singh had organized these meetings in their respective wards.
Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Baldev Singh Biloria, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Rajeev Charak, Vikram Randhawa, Jaideep Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Er. Ashwani Khosla, Ajay Pargal, Rahul Sharma accompanied Gupta during day long campaigning.
