Ex-filtrator killed near IB in Pargwal sector

JAMMU: Alert Border Security Force (BSF) troops shot dead one suspect trying to cross the International Border (IB) into Pakistan in Pargwal of Akhnoor sector in Jammu and Kashmir. “Alert BSF troops saw some suspected movements near IB of Sohan Border-out-Post (BoP) in Pargwal sector of Akhnoor at around 2130 hours last night and gave a call of halt,” official sources today said.
Sources said, “The call of halt was not responded and suspected movement continued towards the border forcing BSF troops to open fire in the said direction resulting in gunning down of an unidentified suspect when the suspect was trying to exfiltrate into Pakistan.”
“The identity of the exfiltrator was yet to be ascertained,” they added.
