JAMMU: Involvement of common man in planning process is must. Planning helps innovative and creative thinking and creates forward looking attitude contributing in attaining the objectives of future which is full of uncertainties, said Mr. Ajay Sadhotra, senior National Conference leader and contesting candidate from Marh Assembly Constituency and exhorted upon all to make healthy contribution in the planning process to carry forward the state of Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace, prosperity and progress while addressing the mammoth gatherings in the public meeting at Phallain in Marh Assembly Constituency where the people from all walks of life attended in large number. He said that in the last elections, people were exploited in the name of religion but now have realized that it is the high time for them to vote for National Conference and the people of Marh have made up their mind to vote up for National Conference keeping in view the programmes and policies of the party committed for the equitable development of all the three regions of the state and added that the National Conference is aiming at for permanent peace, political stability, prosperity, economic development, welfare of youth, women, farmers and other sections of the society to carry them along. Jenab Omar Abdullah took a historical decision for the creation of new administrative units through which a large number people are benefitted and brought the administration at the door steps of common man to get their problems solved at walking distance, thus saving their precious time. Mr. Sadhotra further added that the National Conference is a natural choice for those who believe in secular ethos, plurality and single entity of Jammu and Kashmir and has withstood test of times during the most turbulent times and made unforgettable sacrifices. He impressed upon the people not be allured by those who kept distance from them during the last six years and did nothing for their welfare and upliftment.
Mr. Sadhotra appealed the people to use their franchise in his favour as he has served the people of Marh with dedication and has dedicated his life for the service and welfare of the people of Marh Assembly Constituency. He did numerous developmental works in different sectors like construction of bridges, culverts, roads connecting different villages of the area with each other leading to the improvement in economic conditions of the people, electrification of number of villages was done by getting number of electric poles installed and upgraded, adequate water supply was also made available to the people of area by laying water supply pipes, installing hand pumps, number of tube wells constructed and got functional to augment the need of drinking water in the area. He said that his vision is that of strong, prosperous and peaceful Marh Assembly Constituency where the people live in peace, amity and contribute for the growth and betterment of the Constituency.
